About RJ’s General Construction LLC

Danielson's rooflines step down toward the Quinebaug in slate, tin and asphalt, and a March thaw tests every one of them. RJ's General Construction LLC works that outer edge of a house — roofing and roof repair, storm damage put right, siding, windows and doors, and gutters hung to carry the melt away from the foundation instead of into it. Solar panels come off and go back on when the roof beneath them has to be replaced. The cold half of the calendar brings the other half of the work: snow cleared off the property after a storm has run the valley overnight. From Dayville and Killingly out through Putnam, Plainfield, Brooklyn and Sterling and down toward Norwich and the shore, the idea holds steady — keep the weather on the outside, where it belongs.
