Kent Greenhouse & Gardens

About Kent Greenhouse & Gardens

Five acres of growing ground sit off Route 7, where the Housatonic bottomland flattens out and the June light stays late over benches of annuals and perennials. Kent Greenhouse & Gardens works both ends of a garden: the mowing, garden maintenance, shrub pruning and efficient irrigation systems that keep a place tended week to week, and the design and construction that deliver the entire dreamscape — pool, patio, landscaping and all. People come for soils, composts and mulches, for evergreens and flowering shrubs and mature fruit trees, for statuary, containers and antique stone, and it all loads out for delivery across Litchfield County. One property care manager carries the account, so the fall cleanup, the lawn treatments and the January plowing all trace back to the same phone call. In a valley where the hills shut the sun off early, that kind of continuity is the whole point.
