CONNECTICUT Landscape & Tree

About CONNECTICUT Landscape & Tree

North of the village the Blackledge River runs past the old mill ruins at Gay City, and the cold that pools in that hollow tends to reach the rest of Hebron by morning. CONNECTICUT Landscape & Tree meets it with snow removal — plowing, and the clearing of driveways and walkways so a house is not sealed in behind a berm. Storms here are rarely tidy; they drift along the stone walls and pack hard at the foot of every sloped drive. The work gets measured in one simple way: whether the car gets out. Dark wet pavement at the end of a white night is the whole point of it.
