About S&L Lawn Care, LLC

Colt Park spreads wide and flat across Hartford's South Meadows, and on a July afternoon the grass out there holds the heat like a held breath. S&L Lawn Care, LLC keeps lawns in this part of the city: the ordinary, essential business of cutting grass on a schedule so that a yard never gets away from anyone. A mowed lawn is a small public kindness — it tells a street that somebody is paying attention. The work runs straight through the growing season, week after week, in the neighborhoods around the park and out into the towns that ring the city. Hartford summers are generous to grass, and the craft is simply in keeping pace with them.
