February in Hartford is mostly a matter of walkways. Snow comes down over the tight streets near Pope Park, fills the front walks and the steps, and somebody has to be out in it with a shovel while it is still falling. Shawn's Yard Work LLC does that part — shovelling snow, opening the path back to the door — and then, when the thaw comes and the ground along the Park River greens up, turns to the grass. The promise is a plain and old one: do the hard work so the yard ends up looking beautiful without the homeowner lifting a thing. Small work, done properly, changes the feel of a whole block.
