Hartford Snow Removal

About Hartford Snow Removal

Midday in a Hartford snowstorm has its own strange beauty: the gold dome of the State Capitol going soft and blurred above Bushnell Park, the downtown towers fading into gray, the whole city muffled to a hush. Hartford Snow Removal is out in the thick of it, because a capital city cannot simply wait for spring. Driveways are cleared, walks are shoveled, and the heavy ridge the street plows leave behind is broken up and moved aside. When the parking ban lifts and life lurches back into motion, there is quiet pride in a stretch of sidewalk, a drive, a set of front steps already clear and ready. Then the dome comes back into focus, the park lies white and untouched, and the job is done.
