About A & H Lawn Care Corp

Beneath Hartford's west side the Park River runs hidden in its conduit, and above it Pope Park keeps a long green shoulder open to the sun. A & H Lawn Care Corp works those blocks: mowing and fertilizing lawns, thinning tree limbs until light falls evenly across a yard again, spreading mulch that holds moisture in the soil through a July that bleaches the pavement. Yard clean-ups clear the trash, the fallen leaves and the organic debris that collects against a fence line, and the result reads from the sidewalk — a property somebody is looking after. Landscaping work carries it further, shaping beds and plantings a house can settle into. The routes run north to Blue Hills and Windsor Locks, east across the river to South Windsor, west to Simsbury and south to Rocky Hill.
