About Laudano Building & Remodeling

North Hamden climbs toward Brooksvale, where the roads narrow, the woods close in, and February holds onto its snow weeks after the shoreline has forgotten it. Laudano Building & Remodeling takes on the plowing up there — driveways and lots pushed back past the edges, walks and steps cleared, salt laid where shade keeps ice alive past noon. A hill drive needs the snow moved somewhere it will not slide back, and knowing where that is comes from doing it storm after storm. The truck goes out at whatever hour the storm ends, not the hour that would be convenient. What the homeowner sees is an open driveway at breakfast, which is exactly right.
