About IPM Landscapes LLC

Bible Rock Brook comes down through Seven Falls in a stair of wet ledges, and by April the Haddam woods smell like cold stone and new leaf. IPM Landscapes, LLC works out of this town with an integrative approach — soil testing first, thresholds set for the specific site — so fertilization, weed control and pruning are aimed rather than blanket, and the chemical load on a property stays as low as the ground allows. Week to week that means mowing, bed weeding, mulching and leaf removal: the maintenance that makes a place read as cared for from the road. Then there is the built work — entryway stone, driveways, raised beds, retaining walls, fire pits, stump removal and whole bed renovations that change a house's face. Winter turns the crew to snow removal and surface treatment, so the same driveway they edged in June is bare and gritted come February.
