About Whipple's Yard Services LLC

Inland Groton sits higher than the shore, on ledge and old pasture, and after a July rain the grass up there climbs almost overnight. Whipple's Yard Services LLC keeps ahead of it — mowing, string trimming, edging along walks and drives, and cleanups that carry the clippings away instead of leaving them in windrows. A wet summer has its own rhythm: cut a little higher, come a little sooner, and never let a yard get so far gone it needs rescuing. The pleasure is in the pattern, the way a finished lawn holds its lines across a whole slope. Groton yards, one after another, brought back to level.
