Sound Design works that reality into a drawing first: a landscape design with the materials, the plants, and notes detailed enough to build from, down to photographs and planting information for each specimen. Then comes installation, the custom yardscapes and native plantings, the trees set where they will still have room in twenty years. Gardens for wildlife are a specialty here, which around Groton means something practical — a hedgerow the birds use, a border the pollinators find in July. Maintenance follows, because aftercare is what carries a young landscape far enough to become the thing on the page.
