About Scotts Family Landscaping

In May the light comes across the Thames from the New London side early and lingers late, and that is planting weather. Scotts Family Landscaping spends it setting seasonal color — annuals and perennials chosen so a bed carries something worth looking at from the first warm week through to the last. The heavier work is stone: patios and retaining walls that give a sloped Groton yard a level place to sit, outdoor spaces built to be lived in rather than admired from a window. Hardscape landscaping and maintenance keep all of it holding its shape once the crew has gone. A yard designed this way keeps changing across the year without ever looking unfinished.
