About LEGS Landscaping LLC

The mower opens its first line across a Groton lawn and the grass falls into ordered rows, one clean stripe laid beside the next until the whole yard reads like combed velvet. LEGS Landscaping LLC keeps the green tended through the warm months here above the Thames, edging the beds and trimming the borders close where the land tips down toward Long Island Sound. When a nor'easter loads the driveways with the wet, heavy snow that blows in off the water, the plow is out in the blue-black hours, scraping a path back to bare pavement before the coffee cools and the base wakes. Between the granite ledges and the salt-marsh lowlands, the old stone walls and the oak shade, they leave a place squared away — a lawn that holds its shape, a drive that holds its winter. It is plain, satisfying work, and Groton wears it well.
