About Black Truck Landscaping LLC

June comes early to the Poquonnock River marshes, and by the time the tide turns silver at Baker Cove the mowers are already running. Black Truck Landscaping LLC keeps Groton lawns on a weekly or bi-weekly rhythm — straight edge string trimming, weed whacking, clippings blown off every hard surface before the truck pulls away. In the beds it is weeding, edging, mulching, hedge trimming and hedge pruning, full bed restoration and garden design, carried right through the summer instead of done once and abandoned. Their heavier work is the bones of a property: stone walkway installation, gravel driveways, retaining walls, garden bed edging, drainage pipes and culvert installation, gravel shed pads and garden borders, plus land clearing from one overgrown corner to a whole reclaimed acre. Come January it is snow removal and salting on the very driveways they were mowing in July.
