About ct-lawnpro
On a June morning in Griswold, mist lifts off the Quinebaug before the day has decided how hot it will grow, and along the mill-village streets of Jewett City a mower is already turning. CT LawnPro keeps the lawns of this Quiet Corner town — the weekly cut, the trimming and edging, the spring and autumn cleanups — in the stretch of eastern Connecticut where old stone walls run down toward the river and Pachaug's forest breathes green at the edge of every field. There is a plain contentment in what the work leaves behind: a clean line along the walk, grass laid down in even rows, the border of the woods held back for one more week. It is a small, kept order set against a large and generous land. From Jewett City out through Lisbon, Preston, and Voluntown, they send a yard back into its season looking cared for.
