About Groundwork Enterprise LLC

A July morning on the ridge roads above Griswold smells like cut hay and warm stone, and that is Groundwork Enterprise's element — mowing, trimming, bed care and mulching, plus the fertilizing, lawn aeration and over-seeding that keep turf thick where ledge runs close to the surface. The same hands turn to planting, preparation of annual beds and removal of annuals, tree and shrub care, pruning and irrigation maintenance as the year swings, then to leaf removal when the maples along the stone walls finally let go. Heavier work lives here too: lot clearing, tree removal, concrete, hardscape and carpentry — the built parts of a yard, which have to sit right on ground that never sits flat. Winter brings residential and commercial snow and ice management: snow plowing, shoveling, snow removal with heavy machinery, salting and sanding. Different tools, one habit — leave the ground better squared away than you found it.
