West of the village the Byram River drops through Pemberwick past the old mill buildings, and the streets that follow the water hold tight lawns and short, steep drives. LBL'S Maintenance works this side of Greenwich, keeping grass cut and properties in order right through the growing months. When the wind swings northeast and the first real storm crosses the county, those same drives and walkways need clearing instead of mowing. It is a two-part year — cut and maintain, then plow and open up — and either way the reward is a property that looks tended when you pull in.
