About Shanks Landscaping Service

East Granby opens flat and green below the ridge, shade-tobacco ground under white netting, the runway lights out at Bradley blinking past the treeline. Shanks Landscaping Service starts early on those mornings, when the grass is still heavy with dew and a mower leaves a dark stripe behind it. The work is mowing, trimming, edging, and then the sweep of walks and drives, because a lawn only looks finished once the hard surfaces come up clean. Come autumn the valley gives back everything it grew, and leaves, debris and overgrowth are carried off before frost locks them into the ground. Then fresh mulch around the beds, shrubs trimmed back into shape, a landscape improvement where a yard has been asking for one — and in January, those same driveways opened again.
