Granby is built on stone — the Barndoor Hills shoulder traprock up through the pasture, and every old field here has a wall someone lifted out of it by hand. Landtek works in that same material: patios and walkways in pavers and natural stone, retaining walls and sitting walls, stoops and stairs, poolscapes, outdoor kitchens, fire pits and chimneys that hold a warm September evening well past dark. Underneath all of it sits the unromantic half — excavation, grading, sloping, drainage, laser-set elevations and hard compaction — because a patio only stays flat if the ground beneath it was made to keep it that way. The range runs from a plain front walkway to a full outdoor living space with pillars, pergolas, water features, lighting and custom stone art cut on site. Winters they plow and salt around the Farmington Valley; the rest of the year they are out there rearranging it.
