About JWD Landscaping

Stone is patient work, and a late-August afternoon in Glastonbury gives it the right light — long shadows off the eastern ledges, a course of coping checked against a string line, mortar setting slow. JWD Landscaping builds in that register: patios and walkways, steps, retaining walls, stone veneer, fire pits and outdoor kitchens, designed and installed together so a yard reads as one idea rather than a sequence of weekends. The ground gets its due first — soil preparation and sod installation, hydro seeding across a bare grade, drainage systems routed away from the house before anything decorative goes over the top. After that comes the long part: regular mowing and fertilization, weed control, seasonal clean-ups, irrigation running quietly underneath all of it. Come winter the snow comes off the same driveways they laid.
