About AJP Landscaping LLC

The Farmington River runs north through this town, against every expectation, and ground that close to moving water has opinions about where it wants to send the rain. AJP Landscaping reads those opinions for a living — grading a yard until the slope finally makes sense, cutting drainage so the low corner stops holding a pond every April. Summer is mowing, clean straight lines held across lawns from Plainville to West Hartford, and landscape design that gives a property something to grow into. By November there is firewood delivered and stacked; by January there is snow and ice management, the drive opened while the sky is still the color of slate. Across Bristol, Southington, Berlin and New Britain, the work begins with the ground itself and everything else follows from that.
