About Mego's Lawn Services

A July evening on Sherman Green, the light going long and gold down the Old Post Road, every lawn on the block still holding the day's heat. Mego's Lawn Services keeps Fairfield yards in exactly that condition: cut on schedule, trimmed tight along the walks and fence posts, the border between grass and pavement kept unmistakable. Grass grows hard here from May onward, and the difference between a yard that looks kept and one that doesn't is simply someone coming back, week after week, to make the same careful pass. Twice a year the property gets emptied out — the sand and dead thatch in spring, the leaf fall in November. It is unglamorous work, and it is the reason a Fairfield street looks the way it does.
