About JRS Home Services LLC
Four in the morning on Black Rock Turnpike, an inch of sleet on everything, and the plow lights are already sweeping a Fairfield driveway clear. JRS Home Services LLC handles snow removal and management across Fairfield County and into New Haven County, which mostly means being awake while the storm is and being finished before the first car reaches the Post Road. The rest of the year the work moves to the outside of the house — masonry, siding, chimney repairs, copper, slate and asphalt roofing — the parts that take the weather so the rooms inside never have to. A cleared drive at dawn is a small thing right up until it is the only thing standing between you and your day. That is the job in one line: the way out open, the house shut tight against whatever comes up off the Sound.
