About Lawn Care of Fairfield LLC

September light comes off Southport harbor sideways, gilding the masts and the marsh grass along Sasco Brook, and it is the best hour of the year to stand and look at a garden. Lawn Care of Fairfield LLC works at that scale and at every smaller one: landscape architecture, master plans, conservation plans and 3D renderings at one end; weekly mowing and hand weeding at the other. Between them sits the real range — stone patios, terraces and walkways, permeable paver driveways, segmental retaining walls and piers, pergolas and arbors, outdoor kitchens, ponds and fountains, even putting greens. On the planting side there are rain gardens, living shorelines, pollinator and children's gardens, hedgerows and privacy screens, perennial parterres and foundation plantings. Maintenance carries the calendar: spring and fall clean-ups, fertilizing, edging and mulching, lawn renovation with seed and sod, garden winterization with anti-desiccant and deer spray, and snow plowing when the driveways need opening. Container plantings and lighting design finish it, the way a good sentence gets its last word.
