About Libby Property Maintenance, LLC

The storm usually arrives in Essex from the southeast, off the Sound, and by four in the morning the streets running down toward the Connecticut River are one unbroken white. That is Libby Property Maintenance, LLC's hour. Snow plowing here means knowing which driveways pitch toward the water and which ones hold a drift against the garage door, and clearing them before the first commuter is awake. Snow removal keeps going while the sky does, back for the second pass and the third. The rest of the year the work is property maintenance, the steady looking-after that keeps a place in order. Nothing about it is loud; you notice it as an open driveway at dawn and a plow's taillights already two houses down.
