About Barile's Landscape Construction, LLC

Late summer along the Scantic smells of cut grass, and at Barile's Landscape Construction it smells of sawn wood too — a log that came down in a Somers yard goes through the mill and comes back out as boards. The work runs from hydroseeding a raw slope until it greens over to setting paver walkways and stacking retaining walls that hold a hillside exactly where it was asked to stay. Tree services handle whatever is left standing overhead. Come winter the commercial properties across Hartford County get cleared before the first shift arrives, and the crew that graded the lawn in June already knows where every curb is buried under the snow. It is a straightforward kind of pride: hold the ground, mill the wood, open the pavement.
