About Executive Lawn Services LLC

In Ellington the morning light lands on open farmland first — hayfield, shade-tobacco netting, the long low barns — before it ever reaches the green on Main Street. Executive Lawn Services works those early hours, with lawn cutting and trimming, aeration, dethatching, overseeding and slice seeding, until turf that came out of March thin and matted is thick enough to hold a mower stripe. The same crews design and install the rest of the yard: patios and outdoor living space, tree and shrub planting, annuals, perennials and ground cover, double-ground wood mulch spread to a clean edge, topsoil and stone delivered in bulk to the door. Irrigation is its own patient art here — trenching, valves, heads, backflow device and controller — so a July lawn never has to wait on a thunderstorm that may or may not cross the valley. Then the trucks turn over to winter, clearing snow for commercial properties and condominium communities with sand mixtures ready for the mornings that go glassy. One property, watched all the way around the calendar, and the pride sits in the finish line at the edge of the drive.
