About Morgan Landscapes LLC

February comes to Easton sideways — wind off the Sound turning over to snow by the time it climbs the ridges above the Aspetuck, filling in the long gravel drives and burying the stone walls to their caps. That is the hour Morgan Landscapes LLC is out working, a snow removal outfit that reads these hills the way you read a familiar page: where the drifts stack, which shaded curve holds ice the longest, which driveway bends twice before it finds the road. The blade goes down and the blacktop comes up dark behind it, a clean lane cut through all that white while most of the house is still asleep. There is a plain satisfaction waiting at first light — walks cleared to the brick, the turnaround squared off at the corners, one wooded pocket of Fairfield County put back in order before the coffee finishes. Easton and the towns around it, one storm at a time.
