About Kings Associates

A well-kept property pays its people back in small daily kindnesses — a driveway you can leave on time, a walk you can cross without thinking about it, a morning that simply starts. That is the whole of the work here: snow removal in Easton and the neighboring Fairfield County towns, where long drives bend between stone walls and the roads climb and fall along the Aspetuck ridges. Storms settle deep into the hemlock hollows above the reservoirs, and the answer is plain and physical — plow, sand, salt, a shovel taken to the front steps while the sky is still dark and the porch light is the only light on the hill. There is honest pride in the finished line of it: pavement showing black all the way to the mailbox, banks pushed back clean and square, a house set among bare oaks that can meet the day on its own terms.
