About Roses Farm Landscaping LLC

There is a week in East Haven when the marsh grass along the Farm River goes from bronze to green almost overnight, and the work turns with it — blades come off the trucks, mowers come out, and beds get opened and amended for new plantings. Roses Farm Landscaping works that whole arc, from lawns, irrigation and tree trimming to stone and concrete masonry, retaining walls, and the pavers, sidewalks, patios and driveways that give a yard its bones. Ask anyone who builds them: there is a deep satisfaction in a wall that finally holds a slope the ground wanted to send downhill, in a walkway that lands flush and true from the door to the street. Then the year swings back, and the crew is out on snow and ice, clearing shoreline driveways while the light is still gathering over the Sound. From East Haven inland to North Branford, Woodbridge, West Haven and Waterbury, the work stays where it was put — set in stone, rooted in soil, holding its season.
