About Ortiz Brother's Landscaping LLC

Ortiz Brother's Landscaping LLC keeps its mowers running on the east bank of the Connecticut River, where East Hartford's streets lie flat and green from Main Street out toward the Hockanum meadows. The work is lawn care: grass brought down to an even nap, edges trimmed clean along walks and fence lines, clippings gathered so a yard reads finished rather than merely shortened. There is a real satisfaction in the last pass — low river light across the stripes, the smell of cut grass hanging over a block that looked shaggy an hour earlier. They mow East Hartford and the towns nearby, and they leave a lawn holding its shape long after the truck has pulled away.
