About Highland Tree Services JRFV

Belltown wakes cold and clear in January, ice ticking out on Lake Pocotopaug and every sound carrying a long way across it. Highland Tree Services JRFV works the ridges above that shoreline and the wooded roads running down toward the Salmon River, taking out cracked trunks, trimming, pruning, and opening a canopy that has closed over a house. Winter is honest work — frozen ground, bare limbs, every defect visible from below before a saw ever comes off the truck. When an ice load brings a big pine down across a lane near the Air Line Trail, storm damage cleanup is measured in how fast a family can get out of their own driveway. The last thing done on any job is to stand back and read the line of what is left standing.
