About O García and Garcia Landscaping and Snow Removal

On a January night the swing bridge lights lie flat on black water, and the wind comes upriver with nothing at all to slow it. O García and Garcia Landscaping and Snow Removal is out in that — plowing driveways and lots, opening walkways, spreading salt and sand wherever a slope means trouble. The hill roads above the river ice first and thaw last, so the route runs long and comes back around a second time. Morning proves the work: bare pavement, squared banks, a path to the door wide enough for two people to pass. Nothing complicated about taking pride in that.
