About Copper Hill Lawn & Garden Service

The traprock ridge stands over East Granby like a long wall, and the sun clears it late, so lawns on the west side hold their dew well into the morning. Copper Hill Lawn & Garden Service works those yards under the ridge and out across the old tobacco flats — mowing, trimming, edging, garden bed care, mulch, and cleanups when the calendar turns. Sandy valley soil grows a fine fast lawn if you stay on top of it, and staying on top of it is the whole job. There is a particular pleasure in the moment the engine stops and the yard reads as one unbroken surface. When the ridge goes copper and rust in October, the leaf work begins in earnest.
