About Dubons Landscaping LLC

First light comes up off the Sound and slides across a Darien lawn still cool with dew, and by then the mower lines are already being laid down straight as the tide marks on the shore. Dubons Landscaping works this stretch of Fairfield County — Darien and Westport, Norwalk and New Canaan, Weston, Southport and Fairfield — cutting and edging, spreading mulch, pruning the shrubs that crowd a walk, and pressing fresh sod down to root. When the leaves let go in autumn they clear them away; when spring loosens the winter's debris they rake it back into order; and when snow closes the drives they open them again before the day has properly begun. There is hardscape in the hands too — a patio squared to the yard, a walkway that finds the door, a low retaining wall, a fire pit set for the long cold evenings — and gardens replanted and moved until a place finally settles into looking like itself.
