About Lucho Landscaping & Masonry

Old Shelter Rock Road is named honestly — dig anywhere on Danbury's west side and you meet the ledge the glaciers left behind, gray and stubborn and, if you know how to read it, beautiful. Lucho Landscaping & Masonry has made that ledge the starting point: retaining walls set into a grade that wanted to slide, natural stone laid so the seams look inevitable, concrete poured flat and true where a yard needed somewhere to stand. In October, when the maples over Kohanza go copper and the low sun rakes across a new patio, you can see every joint the way it was meant to be seen. The softer work runs alongside it — lawn installation and upkeep, a French drain routed so spring runoff quits pooling by the back steps, a design that makes sense of an awkward lot. Then the snow comes and the same trucks go back out to plow it clear.
