About Hunter's Property Services
Spring reaches Danbury by way of the water: the ice lets go of Candlewood Lake's southern coves, the shoreline softens from brown to a faint new green, and every yard in town seems to remember at once that it is a lawn. Hunter's Property Services meets that turning of the season with rakes, mowers and trimmers. There is the first cut of the season to make, last fall's matted leaves to pull from under the shrubs, and the edge along the walk to find again after months buried under snow. It is happy work among Danbury's lake cottages and hillside capes, and the payoff is sweet — standing at the end of a freshly cut yard in the cool of an April evening, the air smelling of grass for the first time since autumn.
