About E&S tree Services and landscaping LLC

In late October the ridges above the Still River valley go to rust and gold, and Danbury's old hat-town streets fill with leaves that have to go somewhere — that is E&S Tree Services and Landscaping's hour, chipper running, bucket truck lifting up into a maple, the yard behind it raked clean to the fence line. They take trees down and grind the stumps out, clear brush, answer storm damage, plant new shrubs where the light finally reaches, and carry a whole autumn away in a morning. The colder and quieter months turn to stone: dry-laid walls that follow a slope the way stone walls have always followed western Connecticut slopes, paver patios set true, mulch laid dark around fresh planting, masonry and power washing that make a house look back at you. Working across Danbury and the surrounding towns, they leave behind the kind of ground that holds its shape — a crisp edge, an open canopy, a wall that will still be standing when the leaves come down again.
