Bob's Tree Service

About Bob's Tree Service

Late light comes off Candlewood Lake and climbs the oak hillsides above it, and that is the hour Danbury looks most like the hill town it still is beneath the streets and the old hat-shop brick. Bob's Tree Service works those slopes and the neighborhoods around Tarrywile and Lake Kenosia, handling tree removal on tight lots and the trimming and pruning that keeps a crown off a roofline. Wind funnels down the Still River valley in a way that finds the codominant stems first, so storm damage cleanup is a regular season here rather than a rare one. There is genuine pleasure in bringing a leaning trunk down between a garage and a fence with the flower beds untouched. What a homeowner sees at the end is simply their own yard, swept, with the sky put back where it belongs.
