About Holstein Property Services

October comes down the Skungamaug in cold air and color, and the fields around the Nathan Hale Homestead go copper before the first frost. Holstein Property Services works the season's end — the long fall cleanups, leaves off the turf, the last cuts taken low so nothing mats under the snow. Earlier in the year those same yards get the weekly turn of mowing, trimming and edging that keeps a property looking like someone is home. There is craft in a clean edge along a walkway; it costs ten extra minutes and everybody notices it without knowing why. Coventry's hills make for awkward, sloping lawns, and doing them well is a point of pride.
