About Lawnworks Landscaping

Early on a Columbia morning, mist slides off the lake and uphill through the sugar maples, and the first mower of the day writes its stripes into wet grass. Lawnworks Landscaping works the yards along these ridge roads and stone-walled lots — lawn care and grass cutting, hedge cutting, weed control, full garden clearance and grounds maintenance, with fencing, yard turfing, and garden landscaping when a place is ready to become something else. There is a plain pleasure in watching a driveway or patio come back to its own color under the power washer, and in the straight, clean line where lawn meets bed at the end of an afternoon. By the long shadows of a summer evening the work has gone quiet: hedges squared, edges crisp, a small piece of eastern Connecticut holding its shape until the next pass.
