About Green Valley Landscaping LLC

Colchester is hill country with the sea kept just over the ridge — hayfields stitched together with stone wall, the old Air Line railbed running straight through the middle of town, and the green holding its white steeple up against a hard October sky. The light comes in low and gold through those last warm weeks, and low light shows every line a mower leaves behind. Green Valley Landscaping works in it: mowing and lawn maintenance right through the growing season, landscaping suited to ground that was shaped by farms rather than by subdivisions. Then the year turns, the wind comes down off the ridges toward the Salmon River, and the same trucks roll out for snow removal and plowing before the town has woken up. It is plain, visible work — a lawn kept even all the way to the road, a driveway open by the time the coffee is on.
