Colchester sits where eastern Connecticut's hills ease down into hayfield and oak woods, and the light arrives sideways here — low gold across stone walls in October, flat and blue on the mornings fog pools in the Salmon River valley. Work like this answers that weather directly: a driveway and walkway opened before the town is properly awake, a lawn mowed week after week through the long green middle of the year, beds edged and mulched until the line between garden and grass is one you can follow with your eye. First Class Landscaping & Tree Service takes on the heavier chapters too — land clearing and tree removal, stump grinding, excavation and grading, French drains and dry wells that send the runoff somewhere sensible, blue stone patios and paver walkways and driveways set to hold their shape under frost. Then the steady tending: aeration and over-seeding, dethatching, sod, hedge trimming, planting and transplanting, rock work, fencing, gutter cleaning, pressure washing, and the seasonal cleanups that empty a yard of one year and hand it the next. The reward is plain and physical — a property in Colchester and the towns around it that reads as cared for from the road, and still does once the weather has had its turn.
