Elite Lawn Care

About Elite Lawn Care

The day opens on the flat drone of a brush mower biting into overgrowth, a tractor finding its line, hands reading where the tangle gives and where it holds. In Cheshire, where the traprock ridge shoulders up over the Quinnipiac valley and old nursery rows still run in straight green lines, Elite Lawn Care clears and mows brush, does forestry mulching, mows lawns and the soft margins of retention ponds and wetlands, hauls gravel and dirt, aerates turf, and rakes the yard out each spring and fall. There is a particular satisfaction in the after — a lot that was thicket at breakfast standing open to the light by supper, a mown edge keeping its line, a lawn breathing again. Come winter the same machinery turns toward snow, and driveways come clear while the valley is still blue with early dark. It is work that leaves the ground better arranged than it found it, here and across Connecticut.
