About Brookside Landscape & Stone LLC

Cheshire lies where the Quinnipiac valley runs up against the traprock ridge — orchard rows, the old canal towpath, brownstone ledge sitting close under the grass. Brookside Landscape & Stone works that ground on its own terms: setting stone pavers into walkways and patios, shaping the terraces and plantings around a pool, laying lawn and sod that knits itself green by the second week. There is a plain, physical satisfaction in a wall that runs true across a slope, in a joint tight enough to shed a September rain without a whisper. Design comes first, then the long careful labor of making it hold — and afterward the yard reads as though it had always been meant that way, tended on through the year as it settles into the place.
