About Benjamin's Lawncare LLC

First light comes late to Chaplin, sliding down the wooded ridges above the Natchaug before it ever reaches the dooryards along Route 198 — and by then the mowers are already warm. Benjamin's Lawncare LLC keeps lawns through this stretch of Connecticut's Quiet Corner: mowing and trimming, clean edges drawn along stone walls that stood here long before the grass did, mulch laid dark around the beds, and the leaf-fall of the hardwoods gathered up when October finally lets go of it. There is a plain pleasure in the finished pass — the stripe running true down a long side yard, the hemlock shade swept clear, a place that looks tended from the road. Week after week the work holds, in Chaplin and out toward Hampton, Mansfield, Ashford and Willimantic, until the light goes long and gold across the hayfields again.
