Bristol's Tree & Lawn Services

About Bristol's Tree & Lawn Services

Morning comes late to Canton Center, where the western hills hold the shade until the sun climbs the ridge and finds the stone walls running along Cherry Brook. Bristol's Tree & Lawn Services works out of Humphrey Road into that country of sugar maples, white pines and leftover orchard trees, offering all phases of tree and shrub care: tree pruning, tree removal, stump grinding, cabling, ornamental tree pruning, crane removals and plant health care. A mature tree gets read before anything is cut — cracks, splits, decay, dead or broken branches — and the pruning cuts are placed so the tree holds its natural appearance and grows on from there. When a tree is beyond saving, a 30-ton boom truck crane lifts it out over the lawn in pieces instead of dragging the whole yard through it. What a homeowner remembers afterward is the cleanup: stump grindings swept away, brush gone, grass unmarked, and more sky above the house than there was at breakfast.
