About Arbor Care Tree Service, LLC

The Collins works on the Farmington River once turned out axes by the thousand, and Canton has never quite stopped thinking about trees. Arbor Care Tree Service, LLC handles the living half of that relationship: pruning the big sugar maples shading Canton Center, lifting crowns off the roofs on the hills above Collinsville, removing the hemlocks and ashes that have given out. Spring melt swells the river and the wind that follows takes its toll, so storm damage cleanup is a standing part of the year — drive cleared, brush gone, lawn raked over. The Farmington River Trail threads through all of it, green in July and bare in January, a running reminder of what these trees do for the valley. Work done well here disappears into the landscape, which is the compliment.
