About Matt's Landscaping LLC

The Housatonic drops hard at Falls Village, and everything about the land around Canaan follows from that water — steep pitches, thin shelves of soil, and stone wherever you set a bucket down. Matt's Landscaping LLC is equipped for exactly that: excavation and land clearing, forestry mowing that cuts and mulches invasive growth in a single pass, hardscapes, plantings and water features built into ground that concedes nothing easily. The warm months bring spring and fall cleanup and steady landscape maintenance; the cold ones bring plowing, sanding and salting on lanes that glaze over in the shade long before Route 7 ever does. A driveway opened on a February morning, with the river running black below the falls, counts for a great deal up here. The work reaches out from Falls Village through Canaan, North Canaan and the towns around them.
