About Page's Tree Service LLC

Route 169 rolls through Brooklyn between stone walls and pasture, and the sugar maples along it were planted for exactly the shade they throw now. Page's Tree Service LLC keeps that corridor and the farmyards behind it in order — pruning the roadside maples, clearing dead wood out of the oaks above a barn, removing the trees a wet spring has loosened at the root. After a squall comes up the Quinebaug valley the calls are all storm cleanup: the limb across the lane, the top hung in a wire, the brush piled where the mower has to pass. Autumn is the show around here, and it is better seen from a yard with nothing lying in it. What the work is really for is the order that comes after the mess.
